The Foundation method

Understand. Review. Prioritize. Advise.

01

Understand

Your business, systems, providers and the questions leadership is asking.

02

Review

Only the evidence needed to answer those questions.

03

Prioritize

What deserves attention, sorted into Now, Next and Later.

04

Advise

Clear actions, clear owners, clear decisions.

Before and after

Scattered security information becomes a decision-ready picture.

Before

  • “We think MFA is enabled.”
  • “Our MSP handles security.”
  • “The documents are somewhere.”
  • “I’m not sure who owns that.”

After the Foundation

  • Here are the priorities.
  • Here is the owner of each one.
  • Here is what happens over the next 90 days.

That is the Verified Security Foundation.

What Verified means

We state what the evidence supports, and label the rest honestly.

Verified

Evidence supports it.

“Backups are running. Restoration logs reviewed.”

Reported

You or your provider report it.

“The provider states MFA is enforced for all admins.”

Unknown

Not enough information to confirm it.

“No record of a recent restoration test was available.”

No evidence does not automatically mean failure. It means the current state could not be verified.

Foundation vs technical assessment

A technical assessment asks

What weaknesses can we find?

The Verified Security Foundation asks

As a leadership team, where do we stand, what can we prove, what matters now and who owns the next step?

These complement each other. Technical assessments surface technical weaknesses. SpyGuards helps leadership understand the wider picture, set priorities, clarify ownership and decide what happens next.

The engagement

$2,500

One-time

  • A complete engagement.
  • Five core outputs.
  • Yours to keep.
  • No subscription required.

What the Foundation is, and what it is not.

The Foundation is

  • A security leadership review
  • An evidence-informed security picture
  • Priorities and ownership, made clear
  • A focused 90-day direction

It is not

  • Managed IT or SOC monitoring
  • Penetration testing or vulnerability scanning
  • Compliance certification
  • Unlimited remediation or engineering

Deeper technical work is scoped and quoted separately when needed.

Straight answers

Questions about the Foundation.

Verified Security Foundation

What exactly do I receive for $2,500?
One fixed-fee engagement producing five outputs: your Security Passport, a 90-Day Board of priorities, a Security Proof Pack Starter, clear ownership for every action, and a leadership readout. They are yours to keep.
What does Verified mean?
Verified means available evidence supports the statement. Reported means you or your provider told us and we did not independently confirm it. Unknown means there is not enough information to confirm it. No evidence does not mean failure. It means Unknown.
Is this a technical assessment?
No. A technical assessment asks what weaknesses can be found. The Foundation asks where leadership stands, what can be supported with evidence, what matters now and who owns the next step. They can complement each other, and we help scope technical work separately when it is needed.
Do I have to subscribe afterward?
No. The Foundation is a complete engagement. You can take the outputs and continue independently, or continue with Advisory.
